Perchè eterno è il ricordo

This weekend went to see the transmission of Coppelia direct from Ballet Bolshoi in Russia :) Amazing ballet, only thing bad was that something went wrong inn our cinema and the the lower parrt of the frame ( were the feet were supposed to be..) was cut =/ but it was great anyway :3 The Bolshoi ballets are being transmited by LiveMobz in various cinemas.

Too bad I missed Artem Ovcharenko, he danced on the day before the transmission was made. Check him out, he's great

Ok! Sewed more this week than i have before in my whole life.

Stayed till almost 1 a.m cutting felt circles to make little flowers

And today finished some other bags.

Will be at an event called Mega Bazar Lúdica in Curitiba next week ;)

Erm, almost forgot something....a piece of hand drawing, my entry for the XL column thingie (yeah, only people from MFC will know about that XD hey guys *hugs*)

Freedom

Ok, I haven't posted in a while, so I'm just going to share a few things today, and hopefully tomorrow I'll have pics of the new bags ;)

First, I watched Mine Vaganti a few days ago, it's a really sweet italian movie. Watch it if you can. Really.

And I loooove the song!

Second, I got to the third volume of Stieg Larsson's trilogy, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest. It's amaaazing! His writing, in my mind, is like a big ball of threads in a huge mess, and little by little pulling here and there, the whole things starts solving in a slightly confused way, until it finally falls untangled. I'm loving it.
Warning though: there are some rough scenes. If you're sensible to ugly scenes and some violence, this might not be the one for you....

And last but not least, I'm hopping to see Coppelia by Bolshoi, being transmited live, May 29th (gonna miss Artem Ovcharenko =.=)

In danger of falling from grace

So, now the exposition is gone, I'll concentrate on the bags for a while (I really have to figure out an agenda to keep both on the same track)
I started making my own fabric buttons

And this is the last thing I started. Gonna make a few more, using different fabrics ;)
This bag came from a combined idea. My mother thought of a half moon style because of the Cheshire Cat's smile. I modified it to a round design with a half moon detail on the front :)
